Just wanted to inform everyone over here about a couple of initiatives: www.opensourcecatholic.com and the ##Catholic IRC channel (more info on the IRC tab of the OSC website).
What do you think? It was kind of an offshoot of a few different projects:
1. For www.LOLSaints.com, I thought it would be good to share some of what I did for the benefit of other Catholic org's looking at building community sites.
2. For www.stlouisreview.com and www.archstl.org, I thought I could share with and benefit from a broader Catholic audience instead of just developing on my own little island.
3. Because sharing is good for everyone (the site's tagline ;-).
