I found 89 discussions about spiritual directors in the Catholic Answers Forum. It’s interesting reading.
i always thought that spiritual director should be a priest or religious brother. but it is quite difficult to find a spiritual director from the laity.
I'm looking for one now as well. I had people before, and its very beneficial spiritually to have someone wise to turn to when you need guidance.

- The key to good software architectecture is good naming. You can build beautiful structures on good names. Good names are obvious names; they point toward truth; they are future-proof. They do not miscategorize, they do not duplicate, they do not mislead. Good names scale.

- Actually, many people prefer other expressions, stressing the idea of coaching (as Johah said) or company. Everyone is responsable in first person of his/her choices, community and leaders should help, not decide for other people!

You're right about good naming being vital. Have you read Domain-Driven Design, by Eric Evans? He describes a process for coming up with good names in cooperation with the domain experts for the project.
I love the little Belloc poem above. Funny, I nearly put it on my personal page before I saw it here :)
